Fostering is temporarily caring for an animal in your home until they're ready for adoption or a permanent placement. Fostering helps save lives!
It ranges from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the animal's needs and until adoption.

The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the pet's medical care (including but not limited to mandatory vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter). Spay/neuter/microchip at a low-cost clinic is on average around $300 or more. Puppies require more vaccinations and deworming, hence the higher adoption fee.
